Menii is currently in pre-launch/early access. This page explains the personal data and venue data Menii may process while providing the public site at menii.co.uk and the authenticated Menii app at app.menii.co.uk, and public menus served on Menii menu hosts or venue domains.

Data we may collect

Depending on how you use Menii, we may collect and process:

• account details, such as name and email address;
• login and session information;
• team invite details;
• organisation, venue, role, and access details;
• venue information, such as name, address, contact details, opening hours, facilities, and menu details;
• uploaded menu files, including PDFs, photos, screenshots, images, or documents;
• extracted menu content, including item names, prices, descriptions, allergens, dietary markers, badges, and notes;
• technical and security logs, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and error logs;
• support messages or emails sent to Menii.

How we use this data

We use this data to provide and secure the Menii app, invite and manage team members, create and update menus, help venues keep menu information accurate, respond to support requests, improve reliability, detect abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations where relevant.

AI-assisted processing

Uploaded menus may be processed using automated or AI-assisted tools to extract menu content. Menii does not guarantee that AI or imported output is accurate. Users must review outputs before publishing them or relying on them.

Cookies and browser storage

Menii uses essential cookies and temporary browser storage to keep users signed in, protect accounts, remember basic interface preferences, and make the app work properly. Functional UI storage may include theme, navigation state, selected venue ID, and scroll position.

Functional UI storage does not contain auth tokens, uploaded menu content, user profile data, or venue details.

How long we keep data

We keep account, venue, and menu data while the account or venue is active. We keep uploaded and imported data as needed to provide the service, support review, debug issues, or meet legal obligations. Users can request deletion where applicable.
